Blood Drives on Campus

Grand Valley has developed partnerships with the American Red Cross & Michigan Blood

American Red Cross blood drives are hosted every month by a registered student organization. Student organizations wishing to host a blood drive should attend the blood drive lottery that occurs every March for the upcoming academic year. The hosting organization is responsible for: providing volunteers the day of the drive, promoting the drive, getting blood donors to sign up for an appointment and communicating with the Red Cross and the CSLC. All Red Cross blood drives take place within the Kirkhof Center of the Allendale campus.

Michigan Blood  drives occur on the Pew Campus as well as the Allendale Campus. MI Blood drives are held at the Center for Health Sciences (CHS) and DeVos Center in downtown Grand Rapids, follow the link below for dates and times! MI Blood drives on the Allendale campus take place 2 times every month in front of Kleiner Commons. Follow the link below for dates and times! Donating blood is one of the best and easiest ways you can help save lives. You can choose when to donate, but people can’t choose when they need blood. When you donate at your convenience, you can save the life of someone who needs blood immediately and unexpectedly.
