GV GIVES: GVSU Blood Drives

GIVE BLOOD, GRAND VALLEY!
Grand Valley State University has developed partnerships with the American Red Cross & Michigan Blood to host blood drives at GVSU campus locations. See below for opportunities to donate blood when and where it's most convenient for you.
American Red Cross blood drives are hosted every month by a registered student organization and are held in the Kirkhof Center of the Allendale campus.

Student organizations wishing to host a blood drive should attend the blood drive lottery that occurs every March for the upcoming academic year. The hosting organization is responsible for: providing volunteers the day of the drive, promoting the drive, getting blood donors to sign up for an appointment and communicating with the Red Cross and the CSLC.
Michigan Blood drives occur on both the Allendale Campus as well as at the Richard M. DeVos Center and Cook-DeVos Center for Health Sciences in downtown Grand Rapids.
Follow the link below for dates and times! Donating blood is one of the best and easiest ways you can help save lives. You can choose when to donate, but people can’t choose when they need blood. When you donate at your convenience, you can save the life of someone who needs blood immediately and unexpectedly.
