Seidman Professional MBA Student Brings Home a Win!

PMBA student, Christiana Unakalamba, traveled to Nashville, TN last month to attend the Society for Advancement of Management’s (SAM) International Collegiate Business Skills competition at the association’s annual conference. Christiana entered the Extemporaneous Speech Competition where she took first place in the open division. She also presented her independent study project titled Corporate Innovation Strategy for Business Growth which received an honorable mention in the student research competition.
Christiana has an undergraduate education in the field of communication, she worked in a marketing capacity in the banking sector in Nigeria. While at GVSU, Christiana has come to appreciate the importance of having both technical and soft skills in business. She is finding avenues to innovatively combine technology for business growth. Her goal, after earning her MBA, is to pursue a career in global business.
