Transfer Student Early Awareness Scholarship
Award amount: $3,000 (renewable up to a total of two years)
QUALIFICATIONS:
* Must have participated in one of the following programs:
The Detroit Compact
Wade H. McCree
Jr. Incentive Scholarship
Introspect Youth Services, Inc.
Ada S. McKinley Community Services, Inc.
Upward Bound Program(Math and Science Program and Talent Search)
GEAR UP
* Must have a 3.0 cumulative community college grade point average and 45 college credit hours earned
* Must have a complete admission application to Grand Valley by December 31
* Renewable for one additional consecutive year (up to a total of two years) be enrolled full time and maintain a 2.5 or better grade point average and meet the Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements
* Students receiving the scholarship are also encouraged to
participate in one of the structured student success programs on
campus
* This scholarship cannot be combined with the Transfer Urban
Schools Scholarship or a Native American Tuition Grant
SCHOLARSHIP DEADLINE: December 31
* Students must have a complete admissions application submitted by December 31st
