Transfer Students Awards for Excellence:
This scholarship provides award of $2,400 ($1,200 a year for up to two consecutive years) to students who are scheduled to receive an associates degree from an accredited Michigan community college. Students who receive this award must have a college grade point average of 3.75 and GVSU must be the first institution they attend after receiving the associates degree. The student must also have a complete admission application to Grand Valley by December 31st. The scholarship is renewable for one additional year, provided the student enrolls full-time, maintains a 3.25 grade point average and has completed 25 GVSU credits after the first year.
Grand Valley State University has made every attempt to confirm the accuracy of this scholarship database. However, we reserve the right to make changes and/or correct criteria stated for a scholarship. We also reserve the right to withdraw the availability of a scholarship should funding be cancelled. Scholarship criteria may change with each entering fall class.
