Transfer Students Awards for Excellence:
This scholarship provides an award of $2,400 ($1,200 a year for up to two consecutive years). All admitted transfer students will be considered for this scholarship. Students who receive this scholarship have attended an accredited community college in Michigan, completed 45 college credit hours and earned a collegiate grade point average of 3.5 or greater. Students must matriculate directly to Grand Valley, and complete an application for admission by December 31st for the following fall semester.
This scholarship is renewable for one additional consecutive year (up to a total of two years) provided the student enrolls full-time, maintains a 3.25 or better grade point average and meets the Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress requirements.

However, we reserve the right to make changes and/or correct criteria stated for a scholarship. We also reserve the right to withdraw the availability of a scholarship should funding be cancelled. Scholarship criteria may change with each entering fall class.
