GVSU International Merit Scholarship
Eligibility: An international applicant must be a new degree-seeking student at Grand Valley State University, have achieved the equivalent of an A/B (3.4 out of 4.0) cumulative grade point average from their previous academic work, and have at least a 213 computer-based TOEFL, 550 on the paper-based TOEFL or 80 on the Internet-based TOEFL. Transfer students from U.S. four-year colleges and universities and students being fully funded by their government are not eligible.
Amount: $5,000

Renewal: Undergraduate students must maintain a 2.85 cumulative grade point average, maintain full-time enrollment, and maintain valid immigration status. Graduate students must maintain a 3.0 cumulative grade point average, maintain full-time enrollment. Both undergraduate and graduate recipients must maintain valid immigration status.
