Faculty Scholarships (Michigan Resident):

Renewable awards of up to $12,000 ($500 to $3,000 a year for up to four consecutive years) are available to high school graduates from the state of Michigan. Students with a 3.6 grade point average and a 29 composite ACT score are eligible. Applicants who have a complete admissions application by the December 31st scholarship deadline will be invited to participate in the scholarship competition. Students receiving this scholarship also receive an Award for Excellence Scholarship. Additional amounts of up to $2,000 are awarded to students who are National Merit Finalists.

This scholarship is renewable for three additional years (eight consecutive semesters total) provided the student maintains a 3.5 or better grade point average and completes 25 GVSU credits after the first year, 55 credits after the second year and 85 credits after the third year.
