Presidential Scholarships (Non-Michigan Resident)
Renewable awards ranging from $12,000 to $28,000 ($3,000 to $7,000 a year for up to four consecutive years) are available to high school graduates. Students with a 3.8 grade point average and a 32 composite ACT or 1420 SAT for non-Michigan residents based on the critical reading and math combined scores, are eligible for consideration. Students receiving this scholarship also receive an Award for Excellence Scholarship.
In order to be considered a complete admissions application must be received by December 31st.
This scholarship is renewable for three additional years (eight consecutive semesters total) provided the student maintains a 3.5 or better grade point average and completes 25 GVSU credits after the first year, 55 credits after the second year and 85 credits after the third year.

However, we reserve the right to make changes and/or correct criteria stated for a scholarship. We also reserve the right to withdraw the availability of a scholarship should funding be cancelled. Scholarship criteria may change with each entering fall class.
