Sport Club Equipment

It is the responsibility of each club to obtain the necessary equipment for practices and competitions.  Any personal equipment, (e.g. hockey sticks, soccer shoes, helmets, lacrosse sticks) should be purchased by members of the team and will not be reimbursed.

Purchasing Equipment Guidelines

Any equipment purchased using the Student Life Fund or another club account MUST be able to be used by all club members.  Like fore-mentioned, individual equipment needs cannot be met with these funds.  The following are some general guidelines a sport club must follow when purchasing equipment:

1.  A sport club can only purchase equipment that is itemized in their 
     budget.  

2.  Any equipment purchased by a sport club becomes the property of
     GVSU.     

3.  Any piece of equipment lost or stolen must be replaced out of
     personal funds.
