Hands-on Opportunities

In 2009-2010 more than 6,800 students gained real-world work experience through internships, co-ops, practica, and student teaching, helping prepare them for their careers in disciplines as diverse as engineering and health care to business and teaching. Co-ops and internships provide students with a quality experience they will carry with them into the real world. Many students choose Grand Valley precisely because of its co-op and internship opportunities.

Study Abroad

Grand Valley is known for worldwide learning through its extensive study abroad programs. With more than 700 students participating annually, Grand Valley ranks 11th nationally in the number of students who take advantage of these enriching experiences.
