PRIME for Secondary Teachers of Mathematics

Michigan secondary teachers of mathematics. The emphasis of this statewide initiative will be on school teams of mathematics teachers collaborating together in professional development.
Both teams of teachers who participated in Algebra for All / PRIME and teacher teams new to the program are encouraged to register. Teams will be given preference over individual teachers.
FOCUS
This year's focus will be looking at the Common Core State Standards and the 8 practice standards and to explore functions as they apply to Algebra II.

COST
FREE! This course is being offered through the Project PRIME grant through the Michigan Department of Education as a Mathematics and Science Partnership Grant.
PRIME provides districts with funding ($90 day) for substitutes for each day of training conducted during the school year (not available to non-public schools).
REGISTRATION
SB-CEUs/Graduate Credit
Available for an additional cost. Two (2) graduate credit hours through the University of Michigan-Dearborn Center for Mathematics Education at a reduced rate or six (6) SB-CEUs (PENDING) for $10 (PLUS State-mandated $2.50 online survey evaluation at the end of the session).
