Attend the National Science Teacher Association (NSTA) Conference this Year in Indianapolis!

If you have considered attending an NSTA conference in the past, this is the year to go as it is practically in our backyard!

This conference, held in Indianapolis on March 29 - April 1, is the premier event that brings together science education leaders and experts with educators who are interested in personal and professional growth.  The nearly 2,000 sessions and workshops are designed to provide you with concepts and skills that will pay off back in your classroom, your school, or your district.

NSTA provides the forum to start discussions about science education from the broadest perspective of national standards to the very specifics of strategies and techniques that work well in the classroom.  They offer compelling and relevant information, techniques, and resources to invigorate.

In addition to exciting field trips and exhibits, sessions include:

“What Makes Space So Much Fun and So Hard?”
Bill Nye, Executive Director, The Planetary Society, Pasadena, Calif.

“Next Generation Science Education Standards”
Featured Panel Participants:  Stephen L. Pruitt, Vice President for Content, Research, and Development, Achieve, Inc., Washington, D.C. and Francis Q. Eberle, NSTA Executive Director, Arlington, Va.
