Calling for Teachers Interested in “Ecology of the Great Lakes”

Spend 3 weeks (July 12th – August 3rd) of your summer intensively studying the Great Lakes and associated aquatic environments.  Explore and conduct research on the biological and chemical patterns of streams, wetlands, bogs, and Lake Michigan aboard the GVSU research vessel, DJ Angus and learn how our activities and actions affect our most abundant natural resource.  This graduate level class, GVSU’s BIO 575, offers four credits which count toward a M.Ed. continuing education elective.  It has been structured to provide background information to teachers of all ages.
