What is G3?
G3 is an exciting opportunity for children ages 8-12 and their grandparents to live on campus, stay in a Living Center, learn new things (like art, history, and science), and laugh together on the beautiful GVSU Allendale campus. Participants eat meals in the dining halls, engage in a variety of hands-on classes designed for all ages, enjoy evening activities, and spend quality time together all while creating memories to last a lifetime!
The fourth year of camp will be held June 23-25, 2015. Registration will open in December 2014.
FAQ's for Presenters
Time commitment: We are asking presenters to plan one session and run that session. Faculty are not expected to stay for the entire camp. Each session is expected to run only once, but we are open to repeat sessions.
Session lengths: 90 minutes
Session content: We would like for presenters to share their expertise and passion for a subject with the participants. We are seeking hands on session from all disciplines, including athletics, the arts and core subjects. These sessions could be adapted for the children from classes which you already teach or a hobby that you enjoy.
Important Planning Information
Faculty Planning Form - If you are interested in offering a session, we ask that you print and fill out the Faculty Planning Form. Please return it to the Regional Math and Science Center by October 31, 2014. A fillable form can be found here.
