GVSU mourns loss of Denise Meier

Denise Potuznik Meier, affiliate instructor for occupational therapy, died September 22 at her home in Muskegon after a battle with cancer. She was 51.
Meier joined Grand Valley's faculty in 1996, and led occupational therapy students on service learning trips to Guatemala. Funeral services and celebration of life were held September 26.
Memorials may be made in Meier's name to ARC, Norse Education Fund, or Hearts in Motion.
