Tobacco Free For Good (TFFG) is a six session group class offered at no charge to GVSU student, faculty, staff, family members and the public. The class allows participants to develop their own plan for success. Topics covered include:

  • Health implication of smoking
  • Nicotine addiction
  • Medications and nicotine replacements
  • Planning for success
  • Stress management
  • Weight Control
  • Setback prevention
  • Fitness & recreation

Tobacco Cessation Product Options 
As part of the new health care reform, tobacco use screenings and cessation interventions are available without your having to pay a co-payment or co-insurance. If you choose to use an over the counter (OTC) product such as a patch system or gum you can use your HSA account to cover the cost of these products.
