Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED (Web-based and Classroom)

Description:
Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED Combo Class **NEW BLENDED COURSE: Web-based and Classroom This course will prepare you to recognize and care for a variety of first aid, breathing, and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. The online portion of this blended course features award-winning simulation learning  an interactive experience where you will respond to real-world emergencies in a virtual setting  which will prepare you for the instructor-led classroom skill session. The online portion must be completed prior to attending the in-class portion and must be taken on a Flash-enabled PC with a high speed Internet connection. Allow 2 hours 45 minutes to complete the online portion if you are new to First Aid/CPR/AED training or 55 minutes if you have previously received certification. Upon successful completion of this course you will receive a digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

Description:
The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age). Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

Our Adult Learn to Swim Program is a good home for you if you fit one or more of the following criteria: You have a fear of the water You can't swim at all You don't know any of the swimming strokes You can swim for very short distances but you get exhausted We keep this class at 1 instructor for 3 participants. Let Campus Recreation partner with you to teach you how to swim. Class is open to participants 17 years old and older.
