"I transferred to GV my sophomore year from a small university in Ohio. I knew maybe 3-4 people that went to GV, and I didn't really expect to be around many other people to be honest. On the first day of Men's Club Soccer practice here, I had already gotten close with a handful of the guys on the team. By the next week, we were hanging out outside of practice and going to Griffins' games together. Now all these guys I've met are some of my closest friends, and even closer than some from back home. Club Soccer made moving to GV the simplest thing in the world.

I participate because I genuinely enjoy all of it. I work with IM sports for Campus Recreation and have loved every second of it. I've met people I would have never even talked to if not for Campus Rec. Don't get me wrong, the job is pretty fun; but let's be honest, I enjoy going to work each day because of the people I work with!

Campus Recreation has impacted me in only positive ways. I now have a great group of friends that I love and hate all at the same time, I work with people I get to joke around and be myself with, and I feel accomplished because I have a genuine tie to the school that's more than "just going here". I feel that being part of Campus Recreation is what really made me feel at home at GV."
