National Depression Screening Day

Description
The purpose of this event is to provide information about the signs and symptoms of mood and anxiety disorders. Interested students may also complete a brief screening questionnaire to see if they are at risk for these disorders. All individuals who take part in the screening will have a chance to meet with a counselor, on-the-spot, to discuss their results. The results are kept confidential.
As a way to show your commitment to your students' health and self-care, we hope that you will encourage your students to participate in National Depression Screening Day on Thursday, October 8th at the following locations:
Allendale Campus:
- Kirkhof Main Lobby from 10:00am - 4:00pm
- Campus Recreation Center from 10:00pm - 2:00pm
Grand Rapids Pew Campus:
- Devos Center (study area) 10:00am - 2:00pm
- Center for Health Sciences Lobby from 10:00pm - 2:00pm
