Tessa Jordan, Ph.D. honored with outstanding Academic Advising & Student Services Award
Through Tessa Jordan’s strong interpersonal skills, her ability to connect deeply with her students and have a grounded and sound understanding of their needs, she has become a leader and necessary voice in the development of initiatives centered on student support. She is an active and vital member of the Student Success Network and the First-year Advising and Registration programs. Jordan also served as a mentor and model faculty member to her peers, demonstrating her personal commitment to supporting our students while continuing to build the culture of student support across the university. She works collaboratively with professional advisors and student assistants alike, showing leadership while supporting the full involvement and contributions of others.
