Scholarship Rules:

  • For Psychology majors
  • Must be at least a junior, senior, grad student
  • Must have 3.0 GPA
  • Preference given to students with disabilities 7 students who demonstrate interest in cognitive learning
  • Financial need taken into consideration
  • Nonrenewable

 

 Holliday Willey Psychology Scholarship 2012-2013

 

Scholarship Rules:  Candidates must be a Junior or Senior undergraduate or graduate standing (55 credits or more), be enrolled as a declared Psychology major, Comprehensive Science & Arts for Teaching (CSAT) or - degree-seeking student at GVSU, express and demonstrate an academic interest in Pervasive Development Disorders as evidenced by a scholarship application essay, and must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 or better. 

  • Must be accepted by GVSU for enrollment or be attending the University. 
  • Award amount is $1000. 
  • Deadline:  March 15, 2013

Jacki Klinesteker Minority Scholarship

This is a new scholarship for students of color who are applying for graduate programs in the mental health field for next year.  The deadline for submission is April 1, 2013.  This is offered by the Grand Rapids Community Foundation.  Eligibility requirements and application forms are available at their website:http://www.grfoundation.org/

 

Lena and Fred Meijer Scholarships

Available for Meijer employees and their children.  There are about 100-$2,500 scholarships available as well as two $10,000 scholarships.  This is also available through the Grand Rapids Community Foundation.  Eligibility requirements and application forms are available at their website:  http://www.grfoundation.org/
