Grand Valley State University seeks a dynamic and dedicated leader to be the Dean of the Brooks College of Interdisciplinary Studies. The Dean of the Brooks College reports directly to the Provost and Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs and works collaboratively with the Deans from the six professional colleges and the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. The Brooks College houses the following academic degree and support programs: Fredrick Meijer Honors College, Liberal Studies (including Religious Studies), Women and Gender Studies, General Education, Environmental Studies, international Area Studies (African/African American, Chinese, East Asian, Latin American, Middle Eastern, and Russian Studies), Continuing Education, the Kutsche Office of Local History, the Meijer Center for Writing and Michigan Authors, the Sustainable Community Development Initiative, and the Padnos International Center. Established in 2004, the Brooks College is well established and poised for continuing innovative development.
