Join the Arab Culture Club for our annual, two day Arabic Film Festival. 

Thursday 10/27 "The Invisibles: The Human Face of the Immigration Crisis." The Invisibles presents the human face of the immigration crisis, following four migrants from Syria, Kenya and Cameroon as they wade through Germany's rigorous immigration process and await the final verdict on their applications for asylum. (Arabic and German with English subtitles.)

Friday 10/28, "Theeb (Wolf)." In the Ottoman province of Hijaz during World War I, a young Bedouin boy experiences a greatly hastened coming-of-age as he embarks on a perilous desert journey to guide a British officer to his secret destination. (Arabic with English subtitles.)

Introduction and discussion will be led by two faculty members from the Modern Languages and Literature Department. Refreshments are provided. LIB 100/201 approved!
