Vaccinations & Immunizations

You may be required to have various inoculations to enter the United States.  However, GVSU does not require any vaccinations to enroll as a student. There is currently some concern in Michigan regarding an increase in the outbreak of measles or rubella on college campuses.  If you have not received measles or rubella vaccines, we strongly recommend that you do so before your arrival in the United States.  It is also recommended that you be vaccinated for mumps and polio.  This is for your own protection. 

If you currently use prescription medicine, make sure you have make the appropriate papers to obtain this medication in the US.
