Mr. Vanderploeg has a Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Illinois and a J.D. in law from the University of Michigan Law School.  He has practiced law for many years in Michigan, and has taught numerous courses as an adjunct professor in ethics and philosophy of law at GVSU, Cooley Law School, and other colleges.
