Stephanie Adair completed her Ph.D. in philosophy as a dual degree (cotutelle) between Duquesne University and the Universität zu Köln in Germany. She holds a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s of Education from the University of York. In her doctoral dissertation she examines the role of concepts in Kant’s third Critique and how the logical functions from the table of judgments operate to reveal the four moments of the pure aesthetic judgment of taste. She specializes in Kantian Epistemology and Aesthetics with further research interests in Feminist Philosophy.
