Peer Mentors



GVSU – PERL Peer Mentors


We are seeking PERL Peer Mentors for the 2008-2009 academic year. If you are interested, please contact Professor Mark Richards (richardm@gvsu.edu)

 

Eligibility:

·        You are currently a PERL student

·        You are in good academic and residence hall standing, with a GPA higher than 3.0

·        You are interested in pre-law (i.e. you are thinking about attending law school)

·        Open to any major

 

Responsibilities:

·        Assigned a group of 5-10 mentees

·        Contact incoming PERL students in summer with information about PERL and GVSU

·        Move in to Johnson one day early

·        Help with PERL student move-in and orientation events

·        Assist RA with PERL programming

·        Attend PERL events

·        Serve as a resource and role model for first-year PERL students

·        Assist RA with posting news and information in the residence hall
