The Seymour & Esther Padnos College of Engineering and Computing (PCEC) Student Services includes college level advising and K-12 outreach activities which jointly serves both the School of Engineering and the School of Computing and Information Systems. All PCEC Student Services activities are designed to fulfill our mission and are consistent with our vision and values.

The Padnos Student Services Advising Center is available to assist students that have not attained upper division standing with their advising needs. If you need assistance with advising, please call the Advising Center at 616-331-6025.

For students that have attained upper division standing, they will work with the School of Engineering or School of Computing and Information Systems faculty member that is assigned as their advisor.

Advising for pre-engineering majors is primarily offered at the Kennedy Hall of Engineering on the Pew Campus. Advising for pre-computer science majors and pre-information systems majors is primarily offered at the Mackinaw Hall on the Allendale Campus.

The primary objective of the Outreach team is to generate and support activities that recruit students to the engineering and computing fields. These activities include interactive presentations, summer camps, career fairs, workshops, and expositions.

PCEC Student Services is directed by Associate Dean of Padnos College of College of Engineering and Computing, Dr. Charlie Standridge.

The PCEC Advising Team consists of two Coordinators and a Graduate Assistant.

The PCEC Outreach Team consists of a Coordinator, Assistant Coordinator, and a Graduate Assistant.
