OSH Students Win Three of Five Scholarships At Michigan Safety Conference

Seventeen OSH Students attended this 2-day conference on April 11th and 12th. The Michigan Safety Conference is focused on improving health and safety in the workplace, and includes several seminars from a variety of industries for the attendees to choose from. In between the seminars, students assisted in representing Grand Valley State at the booth set up as a part of the expo that included 278 vendors.
The Michigan Safety Conference also awards scholarships to students planning to work in the field of health and safety. This year, Grand Valley State students were recipients of three of the five scholarship awards. Eric Bell, Lauren Madsen, and Avery Moore attended an awards dinner to receive their scholarship awards.
