OSH Team Wins $1,000 in Laker Effect Challenge

The GVSU ASSE Chapter Executive Board, Patrick Lynch, Avery Moore, Eric Bell, and Ronald Friedreichsen, recently was selected to be one of 7 finalists of over 35 entries to present their vision for providing safety and health consulting services to non-profit agencies for the Laker Effect Challenge. Their project entitled "Establishing a system to provide safer work environments for Comprenew and non-profit volunteers and workers" won second place (One of only 3 projects funded) and $1000.00 as seed money to begin ergonomic improvements and establish a system for future student groups to provide non-profits with OSH services.
