High-Impact Experiential Learning

Experiential learning consists of educational experiences that involve individual student-to-employer/community partner activities that are credit-bearing. These can include virtual activities in the form of internships or projects.

Visit the GVSU Experiential Learning website for information pertinent to students, faculty/staff within academic programs, and employers/community partners.

PCEC Co-op, Internships, & Senior Projects

The GVSU Padnos College of Engineering & Computing is dedicated to the role of experiential learning in preparing professionals for careers in engineering and computing.  As part of this initiative, all students pursuing an undergraduate engineering degree must complete the integrated cooperative education program. Likewise, all students completing undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Information Systems or Occupational Safety and Health Management must complete the integrated internship program.
