Complete the Reservation request to reserve the Climbing Center! If your group/event needs to request multiple areas of the Recreation Center or Fieldhouse (Courts, Pool, Arena, etc), please use the Athletics & Recreation Facilities Facility Rental/Group Event Form instead.

Q: When is the wall available for private events?
A: Any time we are not regularly open or have previously scheduled events. Feel free to contact us to check availability of specific dates/ times.
Q: What is included?
A: Our standard rates include up to a 2 hour block of time, rental equipment, experienced staff to handle the ropes. More time may be added with an additional cost. All General Public groups will be charged for a minimum of 2 hours if less time is desired.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: Rates will vary based on the group's affiliation with the University. General Public (off-campus) rates start at $9 per participant (+ tax) with a minimum charge for 10 participants.
Q: How do I reserve the wall?

BSA Climbing Merit Badge
Requirements Met: 4-12
1-3 should be met before arrival in order for the merit badge counselor to fully complete the blue cards.
Duration: 5-6 hours
Cost: $35 per scout
5 scout minimum, 15 scout maximum, troop leaders are free
Min. Age: 13 years
Established based on current industry standards and with consideration of the BSA guidelines. Younger scouts are welcome to climb but are not eligible for Merit Badge training at our facility.
Saturday mornings are preferred. Please submit our online space request at least 2 weeks prior to your intended event date to ensure adequate time for processing and staffing.
