The Dialectics: Journal of Leadership, Politics, and Society
The Dialectics: Journal of Leadership, Politics, and Society is a refereed, multidisciplinary online journal devoted to scholarship and discourse. We search for papers that have a single thesis, are focused, identify significant societal and global issues, and offer creative solutions or specific recommendations for addressing the challenges. Students from undergraduate and graduate institutions in the United States or abroad are cordially invited to submit their work for review.
Illinois Wesleyan University Undergraduate Economic Review
The Undergraduate Economic Review is an online journal that promotes high-quality original undergraduate economic research by publishing student authored research from around the world. Student editors review submissions and post accepted articles quickly, without the delays inherent in hard copy publications. Anyone may submit an original article to be considered for publication provided he or she owns the copyright to the work being submitted or is authorized by the copyright owner or owners to submit the article.
Issues in Political Economy
This journal is committed to supporting and encouraging quality undergraduate research in all areas of economics and was founded on the belief that the best way to learn economics is to do economics. IPE is edited and refereed entirely by students, with oversight from faculty at the University of Mary Washington and Elon University. The only requirements for submission are that the article pertains to some aspect of economics, that it was written during undergraduate study, and that it be submitted through a faculty sponsor.
The Journal of Politics and Society
This journal, published twice a year by the Columbia University based Helvidius Group, is the premier undergraduate academic publication in the social sciences. While the Journal primarily focuses on political science and economic papers, it has grown to encompass all of the social sciences.
Journal of Psychology and Behavioral Sciences (JPBS)
JPBS is an annual periodical published by the Psychology and Counseling Department of Fairleigh Dickinson University at Madison, NJ. The journal offers undergraduate and graduate student as well as faculty an opportunity to publish in a recognized academic journal; however, the student, and not the faculty mentor, must be the first author of any accepted submission. Articles in ANY topical area of psychology are considered.
Journal of Public Scholarship in Higher Education
Journal of Public Scholarship in Higher Education features public scholarship that is, academic inquiry that forms community partnerships to address shared problems, issues, and opportunities. The journal welcomes diverse manuscripts, from empirically-based examinations to critical reflection pieces, theoretical investigations, commentaries, case studies, and pedagogical and research designs. Regardless of methodology, submissions should describe the outcomes of the project on both academic (institution, faculty, student and/or discipline) and community stakeholders. All submissions should also address implications for promoting public scholarship as a rigorous form of scholarly work.
Journal of Young Investigators (JYI)
JYI is an exciting student-led initiative to broaden the scope of the undergraduate scientific experience. JYI provides opportunities for students to participate in the scientific review and publication process, primarily through the operation of its peer-reviewed journal for undergraduates. JYI publishes the best submissions from undergraduates, with an emphasis on both the quality of research and the manner in which it is communicated.
Yale Review of Undergraduate Research in Psychology
The Yale Review of Undergraduate Research in Psychology is an annual journal that showcases the best and most original research in psychology conducted by undergraduates from around the world. Our goal is to contribute to the scientific advance by encouraging serious, quality research early on. We provide a platform for undergraduate scientist to share their findings, and aim to bring together a community of young psychologists from both the United States and abroad.
