May 6, 2013 - S3 Orientation for 2012 Scholars and Mentors, 10:00 AM-4:00 PM, 2204 KC (Pere Marquette)
May 30, 2013 - Frederik Meijer Office of Fellowships Luncheon for S3 and McNair Scholars, 12:00 PM, Niemeyer Hall Multipurpose Room
June 2013 - Full Cohort Activity: To be determined
July 15, 2013 - Preparing for Writing and Publication, 9:00 AM - 10:30 AM, 2266 KC
July 15, 2013 - Full Cohort Activity: West Michigan Whitecaps Game, 7:00 PM
August 6, 2013 - S3 Summer Showcase, 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Kirkhof Center, Grand River Room, Allendale Campus
August 8-9, 2013 - Writer's Retreat, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, 164 Lake Ontario Hall (Case Room)
September 4, 2013 - Extension Request Deadline. If you are planning to request an extension on your Final Paper or Budget, you must do so by 5:00 PM and include your reason for the request(s) and your new proposed timeline. Submit your request to Susan Mendoza at ours@gvsu.edu.
September 6, 2013 - STUDENT REFLECTION (no extension granted for the reflection) and FINAL PAPER DUE. (Remember also to submit your paper to the Institutional Repository.)
September 30, 2013 - ALL BUDGET MATERIALS DUE
April 9, 2014 - Student Scholars Day (2013 S3 scholars and mentors must register on their own.) Participation in SSD is a requirement for all S3 Scholars and Mentors.
