GVSU Talent Management hosts a semesterly, full-day orientation for GVSU staff. The next New Staff Orientation will take place September 27, 2024.

Orientation day is designed to be highly interactive. It includes:

  • A self-guided campus tour/scavenger hunt
  • A “Resource Fair” with a wide range of on-campus departments who want to meet you!
  • Collaborative discussion around important scenarios
  • Opportunities to connect with current students 
  • Exercises tying your role to our mission and values
