Description
Innocence does not protect against injustice. In fact, innocence can initiate a series of events that increase the likelihood of injustice in the form of wrongful convictions. Using evidence from experimental psychological science and wrongful conviction cases, Dr. Kyle Scherr will detail the ways that innocence serves as a risk factor and influences suspects’ decision-making, communication, and experiences during police interrogations.
