Academic Adviser Information
Before you meet with an academic adviser you must be admitted to GVSU and have a G#. In order for the academic advisor to accurately plan your schedule you must have submitted any and all transcripts from other colleges to the Admissions department.
At your appointment you need to have an academic plan of classes needed to graduate completed. The form to take to your appointment can be downloaded here. It is very important that your classes are laid out by semester! Be sure to have a copy of this made for you to take for your records. Click on advising center's name to determine what majors are within each advising center.
When you call to make your appointment be sure to let them know the following:
- You are a NWLB student
- What major you wish to pursue
This will allow the advisor you will meet with time to put your academic plan together for you.
