Campus Partners

The Gi-gikinomaage-min Project is a collaborative effort among multiple units, colleges, and divisions at Grand Valley State University as well as community organizations. The effort is managed by the GVSU Kutsche Office of Local History, in the Brooks College of Interdisciplinary Studies. The project is overseen by the Gi-gikinomaage-min Advisory council.  We aim to be transparent and intentional in our governance structure and decision making with the goal of modeling ways that non-tribal serving institutions can collaborate with Native Americans on a Native-focused scholarship, teaching, and community outreach efforts in a way that prioritizes Native authorship and control.  Additional campus partners in this effort include:
