The Dance Program is located in the Performing Arts Center which includes classrooms, dance studios, a MacLab for video-editing and digital media applications, and rehearsal and performance spaces. It is a home to all performing disciplines throughout the university.
Dance students perform in the Louis Armstrong Theatre, which seats 400 and the Dance Studio Theatre which seats 100. The dance wing of the Performing Arts Center was added in 2001 and includes two spacious studios with sprung marley floors, pianos, a quadraphonic sound system and in-house projectors, large locker/dressing rooms, and faculty offices. The dance wing also houses our Dance Costume Shop which features state-of-the art sewing equipment.
