Grand Valley State University offers an outstanding merit-based scholarship program. All students entering GVSU with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher, and a minimum ACT composite score of 26, receive an automatic $1200/yr grant. Larger awards are available to students with higher GPAs and ACT scores. To be considered for a scholarship, students must minimally have a complete application for admission submitted to the Admissions Office by December 31, 2010. Complete applications consist of an application for admission, official transcripts, results of the ACT or SAT test, and a $30 application fee. All relevant information including ACT and SAT scores must be received by the December 31st deadline to receive scholarship consideration. Initial eligibility for these scholarships is determined at the time of admission, although final award decisions and the amount of most scholarships are made by the scholarship committee after the student has completed all required application materials. A complete list of scholarships is available athttp://www.gvsu.edu/scholarships/
