Kelly Willard (Bachelor of Music Education - Choral, 2010) began her teaching career as the Vocal Music Director at Baseline middle school within South Haven Public Schools in Southwest Michigan. During her three years with Baseline, Kelly’s students consistently received high praise at Solo & Ensemble, MS State Honors Choir, and Choral Festival, including a Superior rating for her seventh and eighth grade combined choir during her first year of teaching. In December of 2012, Kelly completed her Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis on Multicultural Education and Diversity from Michigan State University. August of 2013 brought a new teaching adventure as she began a position as the Director of Musical Activities for the middle years at Internationella Engelska Skolan: Huddinge in Stockholm, Sweden. Kelly is looking forward to seeing where her education and passion for music will take her in the future!
