Description
Are you interested in pursuing a dance major or minor? Check out
Grand Valley State University! Spring Dance Day on Friday, March 23,
2018, offers an opportunity for high school dancers to take free
classes and meet with professors and current students in the GVSU
dance program. This day will help you learn more about pursuing a
degree in dance and prepare you for the audition process, which
follows a similar format.
9:00-10:25 Ballet technique
class
10:30-11:50 Watch Dance Company rehearsal + Q&A with
students and faculty
11:50-1:00 Break for lunch (bring your
own or explore our on-campus dining options)
1:00-2:25
Modern technique class
This is a free experience but space is limited; registration is
first-come, first-served. To sign up, emailing Assistant Professor
Hannah Seidel at [email protected] by Monday, March 19. Please include:
- Dancer's name
- Year in school (Fr, So, Jr, Sr,
post-grad)
- Current dance school
- Email address for
correspondence & parking pass
- Phone number in case of
emergency
- Mailing address
Space is limited so register quickly! Because of limited space,
please do not register unless you are sure you will be able to attend.
