Student Scholarship Day
Student Scholarship Day has continued to experience growth over the years. What began as an event primarily composed of science and mathematics majors has flourished with student presenters with majors from across the entire university. The GVSU community has truly embraced this annual event as a day in which to take pause and proudly celebrate the scholarly achievements of student from the past year.

Student Summer Scholars
The Student Summer Scholars (S3) program provides funds for a student and faculty mentor to devote twelve weeks to a research or creative project during the spring/summer semester. The program offers educational opportunities for undergraduate students to acquire critical and creative thinking skills as it facilitates direct experience with research and/or creative performance in any of the academic programs offered at GVSU. S3 projects involve students in meaningful ways in ongoing scholarly programs or in scholarly projects designed especially for the purpose.
