Two keynote speakers, social justice sessions and many other activities were planned during the 2014 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemoration Week.
For the first time, classes were not held, allowing more people to participate in social justice activities planned throughout Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Beginning with community breakfasts, events included two keynote speakers, silent march and day of service during the 2012 Martin Luther King Commemoration Week.
The 2011 MLK events included keynote speeches by Michael Eric Dyson and Judy Richardson. Volunteers went to Comprenew Environmental to recycle electronics during the Day of Service.
