Why We Are Here
We think Macomb and St. Clair Counties are a great place for small business - and so do our clients. In fact, 95 percent of the businesses located in Macomb County employ fewer than 50 people.

In 2007, there were 7,284 new sole proprietorships and partnerships registered in Macomb and St. Clair Counties.

What We Do
The Michigan Small Business & Technology Development CenterTM (MI-SBTDCTM) promotes economic development by providing assistance to the emerging entrepreneur and to existing small businesses.

Last year, our counselors worked directly with 559 different clients, which resulted in investments of over $20 million. This, in turn, has created or retained 2,391 new jobs!

Our MI-SBTDC offices provide many free services that assist you, the entrepreneur, in your business venture. If you need business assistance and/or consulting, then you have come to the right place. We help businesses thrive and grow by providing:
