| The MI-SBTDCTM at Michigan Works! has a business relationship with most Chambers of Commerce across the Upper Peninsula. At a number of locations, our circuit riding business counselors actually provide MI-SBTDC services from chamber facilities, with chamber staff scheduling our appointments. This partnership has enabled an expanded business development assistance and training program to occur at chambers throughout the Upper Peninsula.
Chambers of Commerce provide a wealth of assistance to the small business community. These organizations are membership based, however, you do not have to be a member to receive MI-SBTDC services. Below is a listing of chambers that we provide services through: |

Like chambers, local EDC's have partnered with the MI-SBTDC to provide business development services. Local EDC's have used SBTDC services in a variety of ways to augment the array of services provided by these non-profit organizations. The basic goal of local EDC's is to retain and grow local companies and the employment base for their area.
