The Health Forum of West Michigan is hosted by the Office of the Vice Provost for Health at Grand Valley State University and is scheduled on the first Friday of each month during the academic year. The forums are coordinated under the collaborative leadership of our community partners with sponsorship provided by Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan.
The purpose of the Health Forum is to offer a venue for open discussion on health topics pertinent to the well-being of the community.
All Health Forum of West Michigan events are free and open to the public.

Last academic year over 1,000 individuals participated in one or more of our Health Forum presentations. For each event we plan carefully to identify a diverse group of speakers to provide varying perspectives on each of our critical and/or emerging issues. We believe each event encourages ongoing discussions and collaborations enabling our community to work together in search of solutions to our health-related challenges and to develop innovations in care.
Here are the upcoming dates and topics for the 2017/2018 academic year. Included in the listing is the West Michigan Healthcare Economic Forecast - an event that is frequented by Health Forum followers! The Healthcare Economic Forecast is in its 9th year!
