Room blocks are secured at several unique locations.  Please book your own accommodations by calling them direct, and booking under the group code:  Michigan Cares for Tourism.  Hotel rooms are being held until September 17.

RAM Center Cabins (roommate request accepted) – A shared room (two single beds and shared a bathroom) is $31pp and includes a continental breakfast.  A single room with a shared bathroom is $51pp and includes a continental breakfast.  989.821.6200.

North Higgins Lake State Park Campground – Email Josh Pellow at to secure your campsite.
     Campsite at $20 (bring your own tent) and includes breakfast for one, $6 each additional person.
     Campsite with DNR provided, two-person tent (bring your own bedding) at $25 and includes breakfast,
     $6 each additional person.

Super 8 Houghton Lake – $55 plus tax.  Indoor pool, hot tub and breakfast are included.  989.422.3119.

Adventure – This is your Camping 101 experience!  Learn how to pitch a tent, start a campfire, make a s’more and join the world’s largest outdoor scavenger hunt on a Geocaching hike. 

Camp Grayling – Michigan’s largest military installation invites you to tour and experience where they train and prepare to protect our nation.

History – Learn the rich history of several destinations throughout Crawford and Roscommon counties.  Tour museums, antique stores and quaint shops.  Time for shopping is included!

Kayaking – Spend the afternoon navigating the legendary Au Sable River with Paddle Brave on this two-hour paddle trip.  Wildlife watching and scenic views await!  Kayak rentals are $15, or double up with a friend in a tandem kayak or canoe for $20 per boat.
