Because most students in the McNair Scholars Program will do research during the summer between their junior and senior years, freshman and sophomores are often left wondering how to best utilize their summers. The number and diversity of summer research opportunities around the United States and even the world present some very exiting opportunities. If you're looking for some research experience, please take the time to look through some of these options. An excellent online resource for helping you find/helping you through undergraduate research opportunities is the WebGURU research guide at Northeastern University. Also available are Central Michigan University's site as well as Westminster College's site. Both have links to outside universities' Summer Research opportunities. Be sure to check them out.
