Applying to graduate school can be an intimidating process. But it can also be a wonderful occasion for reflecting on your college experience, assessing your skills, clarifying your values and sharpening your goals. This guide is designed to help you make informed choices that are rooted in who you are and what you really want from life.
The greatest resource available to you on campus is the faculty. Talk to your teachers about your plans and seek their advice. They have come to know how you think, how you work, how you write. They also know a lot about various graduate programs around the country. Take advantage, too, of the resources in the Career Services Office and the Writing Center. Both have additional resources for preparing for graduate school.
